Per Diem Interview Process

Nursing Professionals who are interested in working a per diem schedule must go through an interview process. This process will begin once you've completed the TGI Application, which will be sent to you after your initial conversation with TGI.

Once complete, you may set up an interview with one of our Per Diem Staffing Coordinators. You will be asked to come into the office to meet with a member of our Nursing Team for a brief interview to discuss your work experience and skill level.

After your interview, you will be asked to complete a competency test for each skill specialty in which you provide care. You must receive a passing grade of 80% or higher in order to continue with the interview process.

Last, but not least, you will once again sit with a member of our Nursing Team to discuss Scheduling Guidelines and the remainder of the paperwork that TGI requires in order to begin scheduling you for shifts.

Overall, this interview can last anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on how quickly you test, and how many tests you are required to take.

In order to expedite the interview process, please be prepared with the following current documents:

  • State Licensure
  • TB Documentation
  • Certifications: ACLS, TNCC, etc...
  • Healthcare Provider CPR

Our clients have very specific requirements as to the type of CPR our employees carry. Click here for an example of what this type of CPR card would look like. If you do not currently have this card, please contact our Per Diem Nursing Team to discuss when and where classes are available.

Give us a call today to begin your Per Diem Nursing career. We look forward to meeting you!
