Our healthcare professionals create solutions for your team. Our highest priority is to ensure the provision of caring and quality patient care. By employing state of the art screening and credential verification tools, we do everything we can to assure that our healthcare professionals are as qualified as your own.
Your healthcare professional will be fully screened, credentialed and guaranteed, as described below:
- TGI verifies that all Joint Commission/OSHA and other regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
- Comprehensive Skills Inventories specific to the healthcare professional's temporary position are provided for each candidate.
- Pre-employment drug screening is conducted on all temporary employees.
- Criminal, HHS/OIG and EPLS background checks are conducted prior to employment.
- TGI will provide Tubercular Screening and immunization records, including MMR, Hepatitis B, and others where required.
- A copy of a Health Statement is available upon request.
- Healthcare professionals provided by TGI have documented training in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and have agreed in writing to protect and provide for the privacy and security of Protected Health Information.
- All of our temporary employees are insured for malpractice and liability; documentation will be provided by our carrier at your request.
- Healthcare professionals provided by TGI are TGI employees and therefore are covered by Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Insurance.
- TGI will provide work-related references from past supervisors, managers, doctors and/or other relevant personnel. Telephone numbers will be provided for all references to accommodate your desire to independently check references.
- TGI will provide copies of current required state licensure and conduct license and education verification.
- Proof of current CPR certification is provided (or ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC, etc.) as required.
- A follow-up employment evaluation will be provided periodically for all medical personnel placed by TGI. You are requested to complete this evaluation to remain in compliance with Joint Commission regulations.
